Migraine research is at the heart of our work

We have been funding research since 1965. Thanks to our supporters we have been able to fund over 140 research projects, and helped support the next generation of migraine experts through funding opportunities for students and fellows. The research we have supported has increased understanding across different types of migraine and headache, including the role of factors such as diet, genetics and hormones, and contributed to the development of new treatments.

We are a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) meaning each project we support undergoes a rigorous, peer review process through a group of experts.

"Migraine is giving up its secrets to our research efforts and this will benefit our patients now and their children in the future."
