Patient advocate events in UK Parliaments

Expression of interest

Between November 2023 and January 2024 The Migraine Trust plans to hold a series of events in the UK, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland parliaments to follow on from Migraine Awareness Week 2023 (Sunday 24th to Saturday 30th September).

We want to bring people who are impacted by migraine together with parliamentarians, so that your politicians can hear about what it is like to live with migraine and what can be done to ensure people get the support and treatment they need to live and to work.

Some of the politicians already supporting us with these events are themselves impacted by migraine, and we will hear from doctors and experts working in migraine care. For Migraine Awareness Week 2023 we will also be launching our latest report on patient experiences and migraine care, which will make recommendations on what needs to change – we hope these events will help make these changes a reality.
