The Migraine Trust welcomes Chisola Chitambala as new ambassador

10th July 2025

We are delighted to announce that Chisola, entrepreneur and former The Apprentice Final 5 candidate, has joined The Migraine Trust as our first.

Chisola has lived with migraine since she was 15 and knows first-hand how deeply the condition can affect every aspect of life. For years, she endured up to 20 headache days a month with symptoms including blurred vision, tingling sensations, nausea, and pain so severe she would have to lie in a dark room for hours. Migraine also led to her leaving her career as a nurse in the NHS.

Now on a treatment that has had a huge improvement on her migraine, and even enabled her to take part in the 2025 edition of The Apprentice. Chisola is determined to raise awareness of migraine, break down stigma, and help others access the support they need.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Chisola to The Migraine Trust family,” said Rob Music, Chief Executive of The Migraine Trust. “Her story is one that will resonate with so many people living with migraine — especially those who feel isolated or unheard. We’re excited to work with her to push for greater awareness, better treatment, and a world where no one has to face migraine alone.”

"Becoming an ambassador for The Migraine Trust is really exciting. Living with chronic migraine has shaped my life in so many ways — it’s isolating, misunderstood, and often invisible to others. Through my journey, I’ve found strength in speaking openly, and I want others living with migraine to feel seen and supported too. I’m proud to stand with The Migraine Trust and to use my voice and platform to help break the stigma and push for better care. It’s a privilege and an honour to take on this ambassador role and help lead the conversation forward."

Chisola

Chisola will be working with the charity to raise awareness of the realities of living with migraine, particularly in workplaces where the condition is often misunderstood or unsupported.
