March for Migraine

March for Migraine 2026 is here! Move 100 miles in a month and help change lives

This March, we’re calling on you to be part of something amazing. March for Migraine is your chance to walk, run, cycle or wheel 100 miles across the month of March, all while raising vital funds for The Migraine Trust. However you move, wherever you are, every mile you complete helps transform the lives of people living with debilitating migraine.

You can break your miles down however works for you – a little each day or big weekend efforts. Go solo, team up with friends and neighbours, or get your workplace involved. Walk it. Run it. Cycle it. Wheel it. Your challenge, your way.

It was the getting out there and doing it - it really has helped my migraine, and this group has been inspiring.

Why March for Migraine?

Migraine is one of the most common and disabling neurological conditions in the world – yet it’s still misunderstood and underfunded. By taking part, you’ll be helping The Migraine Trust provide trusted information, fund research, and campaign for better awareness, treatment and support. Every mile you move helps push the migraine community forward.

Registering for the event is completely free – we just ask you to raise £100 (or as much as you can) along the way.

Plus, when you join March for Migraine, you’ll receive:

  • Your own personalised fundraising page – easy to share and simple to smash your £100 target
  • An exclusive ‘March for Migraine’ t-shirt once you’ve raised £15 on your fundraising page
  • Access to our dedicated March for Migraine Facebook Group – connect with fellow challengers, share progress and stay motivated
  • Training tips and fundraising advice sent throughout the month to help you go further
  • Ongoing support and encouragement from The Migraine Trust team and community. We’ll be with you every step (and mile) of the way!

March for Migraine is inclusive and flexible, so you can adapt the challenge to suit your ability, lifestyle and health. Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or starting from scratch, every mile counts. And if 100 miles feels like a bit of a stretch, don’t worry – just do what you can…being part of the team is all that matters!

This challenge has got me moving and I do feel better for it. These days due to my migraine I can barely get out of bed some days. Although, I miss how I used to push my body I am starting to become comfortable with where I am at the minute. This group has made me feel less alone with this condition.

Frequently asked questions

March for Migraine is a ‘virtual’ challenge which means it takes place wherever you like, however you like – complete those miles around your hometown, in the gym, at work, on holiday or just walking around your own back garden – it’s totally up to you!

Absolutely not! You can complete your miles however you like – walk, jog, cycle, wheel…it’s your challenge, your way.

No! Registering for the challenge is completely free – we just ask you to raise as much money as you can on your fundraising page to help the millions of people living with debilitating migraine.

You sure can – but please be aware that we won’t be able to post any t-shirts to countries outside of the UK.

Anyone can join March for Migraine, but you must be 18 or over to join the Facebook group. If you would like to post in the group but are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to post on your behalf.

Apps like Strava and MapMyWalk are great for keeping track of your progress or simply use the Health app that comes as standard on most phones – you can then share this in the Facebook group.

Of course – if you think you might have plans in March that could get in the way of the challenge or are worried about migraine attacks hindering your progress, please do feel free to get a bit of a head start towards the end of February and if you need to finish off at the beginning of April, that’s totally fine too.

When you register, you’ll get your own personalised fundraising page emailed to you – you can add your progress updates to your page and use the ‘share’ button to get it in front of all your friends, family, and colleagues

Yes! You can download and print it from the ‘files’ section at the top of the Facebook group, or email us for a copy at fundraising@migrainetrust.org

We don’t need any proof – but please do join the dedicated Facebook group for this year’s event so you can share your progress, and we can cheer you on all the way to the finish line!

The best and easiest thing to do with any cash you receive is keep it and then donate that amount onto your own fundraising page – that way it’s all nice and neat and in the same place.

All funds received on your fundraising page automatically come over to us, so there’s no need for you to do anything at all.

Raise £15 on your fundraising page and we’ll email you straight away to confirm your size and address – please allow 10 days for delivery.

You can either post your question in the Facebook group (it’s likely that many of your fellow Marchers will also want to know the answer) or you can pop us an email at fundraising@migrainetrust.org
