About the event
Come and join us for this exclusive hour with Professor Peter Goadsby. Get your chance to ask a world leading neurologist your questions on migraine and headache. This is an hour on just questions and answers. Questions can be submitted before the event and on the day.
With a career spanning four decades, Professor Goadsby is a world-leading researcher in the field of migraine and cluster headache. His work has not only helped us understand the mechanisms behind migraine and other headache conditions, it has also created exciting new treatment options for the one in seven people living with migraine. Professor Goadsby’s pioneering research led to the development of calcitonin gene-related peptide monoclonal antibody (CGRP mAb) treatments for migraine, which many people have described as life-changing.
Professor Goadsby specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders, which include migraines, cluster headaches and other forms of chronic daily headaches. He is the Professor of Neurology at King’s College London and remains an honorary consultant neurologist at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London, and is also a trustee at The Migraine Trust. Professor Peter Goadsby is currently the Chair of the British Association for the Study of Headache. His clinical and research interests are in understanding headache disorders through their diagnosis and treatment.
