Managing Your Migraine: Migraine Awareness Week – Believe Me

21 September | 12pm | Online

About the event

Join us for this special Managing Your Migraine session, based on our Migraine Awareness Week theme “Believe Me”.

During this session we will hear valuable insights into the power of being believed and the detrimental impact that being disbelieved can have for people living with migraine.

We will hear from two brilliant speakers, providing an opportunity to hear both lived experience and professional insight and guidance, as well as reflecting on things that can be improved and tools and resources available to support anyone feeling disbelieved or unheard.

Chisola Chitambala: Entrepreneur and former The Apprentice Final 5 candidate and Ambassador for The Migraine Trust will be sharing her personal experiences of being both believed and disbelieved in relation to her migraine.

Susie Lagrata: Advanced Headache Nurse Practitioner – sharing about being believed and disbelieved from a clinical perspective.
Susie is an Advanced Headache Nurse Practitioner and Lead Nurse at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust.
