About the event

Join us as we focus on the important topic of access to migraine treatment. This session will combine clinical insight, inclusive of best practice guidelines, with patient voices.

We will hear from Dr David Watson who will outline the British Association of Headache (BASH) guidelines on migraine management and give expert advice on navigating access to treatment.

David graduated from Aberdeen University in 1984 and served as a GP Partner at Hamilton Medical Group for 35 years, retiring in March 2025. He has over 20 years’ experience as a GP with an extended role in headache at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

We will also hear from Andrea Quinn, Communications Manager at The Migraine Trust regarding the outcomes of our recent survey on Access to Treatment, which reflects the experience of over 1500 migraine patients from across the UK.

Following these presentations there will be a Q&A session.
