New Year, New Service!

We are pleased to announce the launch of our upcoming pilot programme of online support groups

We know that migraine can affect all areas of life, including negatively impacting our wellbeing. But the right support can make a huge difference! In 2025 27% of contacts to the The Migraine Trust Helpline included reference to the impact living with migraine has on wellbeing and emotional health. That’s why we’re refocusing on wellbeing and support in 2026, kicking off with the launch of a pilot programme of support groups.

The pilot programme will provide an opportunity to share migraine experience in a safe space with a small group of others who live with migraine and can relate to the challenges and impact, gaining valuable peer support, empathy and understanding.

These free online support groups are run by The Migraine Trust staff and volunteers and last for one hour. The sessions are a space to exchange stories and experiences, explore management techniques and coping methods, and most of all to connect with others affected by migraine. Registration will open today, 12 January at 4pm.

These initial pilot support groups are for people living with migraine in the UK, aged 18+.

The support groups will be for a total of four sessions; this will be one session a month.

There will be two groups running, with a maximum of fourteen participants per group, however a waitlist is available for each group for those wishing to join in case of cancellations.
